Game 32: Titans vs Bl@ck/Galaxy

Team A

White Star 32 was against Bl@ck/Galaxy, a team loaded with high level modules. Many blast shield and chain rays in the line up. They were leveled 411 to 118 but their modules were extremely good. Darrow, Tricky and Captain Barnacles all used chain ray and guarded the support ships along with Eltiqui. The rest of the went down the right side of the map. Q led the charge bonding a bomber and crashing into them. This could be an effective distraction but Q got caught in two destiny traps Stu, Venom and Space Titan also came down the right side. This brought them into the full force of the enemy and they were quickly killed. Talon and Cobra came in from the side but were also eliminated quickly.

A small group of the enemy kept pushing forward now that our ships on the right were eliminated. Q, Stu and Venom respawned and fought them again. Darrow, Tricky and Captain Barnacles came to join the fight. Tricky rerouted to take a shot at the enemys support ships since none had been destroyed yet. Darrow and Captain Barnacles arrived too late to save Q, Stu and Venom but were able to stop the advancing enemy. They received back up from Space Titan. Tricky was able to kill some support ships and with a well-timed delta rocket from cobra the two were able to kill 7 support ships. The last one was a transport brining 5 relics back when Tricky bonded it and used destiny to teleport back to safety and kill it.

With the guardians going on the offensive the enemy tried to capitalize on this and slipped a few ships behind our front lines to go after our support. Cobra, Darrow, and Talon went after this group and killed them one by one. Venom respawned taking out the last of these hunters. The Tians had eliminated the threat, but damage had been done.

With Tricky being the only threat to their relic production, they were able to produce 18 points. The Titan were down 14-18 scrambling to score any relics as the clocked ticked down. They knew the enemy were unable to score anymore so they just needed 5 more points. Cobra was picking up 2 relics on the L10 planet and Darrow, Tricky, Tallon, Space Titan, and Stu all had miners just trying to create some relics on the level 1 planet before time ran out. A ship called Yonimebano charged at the L10 planet cobra was picking up the last bit of relics from. It was guarded by Tricky, Talon, Darrow, and Captain Barnacles. He triggered teleport to land on the planet and kill the transport. Tricky charged at him with impulse shields hoping to trigger his alpha shield early but the battleship didn’t bite. He took heavy damage but still teleported on the planet. Talon used ally shield to protect the transport. The enemy used alpha shield to protect himself from the 3 ships beating on him with chain ray and Talons mass battery. He then launched destiny. The transport was loaded and left for the jump gate under Talons ally shield for protection but it wasn’t enough. The blast from the enemies destiny destroyed the transport and along with it the Titans hope for winning. In the end the Titans ended up losing 15-18. It was a valiant effort. This was a very strong enemy and to be with them up to the end keeping so close was a true feat for a under leveled team. Even if we don’t have the modules that they had, we were still able to go toe to toe.
