This match was an opportunity for our WS•B team to test some of our new recruits alongside a few seasoned veterans. The battlefield featured an interesting layout with most planets located on the outer edges of the map.

Ultimately, only three opponents from the Eastern Front showed up, making it an ideal scenario for our new players to gain experience.

The match began slowly with only Op2rules and Talon present at the start. They were later joined by KalZeemHum, Mirth, King RazorII, and finally by Q and Arto, resulting in seven Titans against three Eastern Front players.

Op2rules took the lead by creating three of the first relics on a level 1 planet. Talon successfully eliminated a bomber that was harassing the center of the map. Phenom maneuvered around the right side to deploy a Cerberus Bomber against the enemies, yielding interesting results. Op2rules went on to create the first four relics on the level 10 planet they had decided to develop.

The opponent created two relics on their level 1 planet and transported them back to their port, scoring the first two points of the game. These would be the only points they scored.

King RazorII and Mirth secured the second level 10 planet in the adjacent hex. After securing the level 10 planets, Op2rules advanced into enemy territory, teleporting in and taking out an enemy transport. This prevented the enemy from scoring the three relics they had created on this planet for the rest of the game.

After three and a half days of this match, Phenom scored the Titans’ first points by bringing back one relic. Since the enemy showed very little aggression throughout the match, Arto led a charge to the enemy’s home port, followed by King RazorII, Talon, and Q. All of them met gruesome deaths.

With less than a day on the clock, the Titans brought home the rest of their relics. Phenom, who brought back the most relics (6) during the match, decided to take a nap and died in the supernova with three relics in his transport.
