White Star 19 began with a shower of Delta rockets targeting the enemy. Tricky raced to the center to stake out some territory, while Darrow maneuvered around the side, aiming to catch some support ships. He managed to take down five. A standoff ensued in the middle, with both teams deploying barriers and arming themselves with chain rays. Meanwhile, a Cerberus bomber below launched a volley of rockets, and their flagship unleashed a cataclysmic barrage of over 30 rockets from above. Tricky’s barrier could not hold much longer, and to make matters worse, one of the enemy ships used Vengeance, decimating our front line.
We still had some ships fighting the Cerberus bombers, and Darrow was making his way to the support ships. Soon, they had control of the map. Stu, Darrow, and a post-Vengeance Space Titan were all that remained of the Titans, while nine enemy battleships were still in play. Despite this, as long as Darrow remained, there was hope. He managed to destroy a transport and a relic drone carrying five relics back to their base. He also forced another transport carrying relics to the middle of the map, attempting to flee. Unfortunately, he was killed before he could do more damage.
As one hero fell, another emerged. Stu managed to get behind the enemy and position himself between their transports and their base. Meanwhile, Tricky respawned and rejoined the fight. Together, they cornered the enemy support ships, with Tricky sinking another transport carrying relics. The score was 4-3, and the Titans prevented the enemy from scoring any more. They also had a battleship behind the Titans’ lines. Jim returned to carry him away with Bond, but it wasn’t enough. Using chain ray and a chain ray turret, the battleship reset its shot to target the relic drone flying by. Jim was then killed, but Darrow respawned and fended off this enemy, protecting our other support in the area.
This allowed Darrow to score two more relics, bringing the score to 6-3 with 14 hours left. The enemy had a transport with relics on the way back. The first, carrying two, made the score 6-5 with 2.5 hours left, and the second transport, which could have tied the game, was right behind. However, it would not make it in time, and the Titans pulled off a narrow victory. Despite being virtually wiped out, they were able to come back and win. Never give up, never surrender.
