White Star 17 began with Operation Delta Storm, unleashing a hail of Delta rockets on the enemy, setting a relentless tone for the battle. Darrow reached the level 10 planet first and held off the enemy with a barrier, trapping five enemy battleships. Tricky followed with his own barrier, ensnaring six enemy battleships and striking them with chain rays.
While these ships were immobilized, Space Titan arrived and unleashed a massive Vengeance attack, crippling the enemy fleet. Only two of the six ships managed to escape, barely holding on with 2181 HP and 510 HP respectively. Though the enemy still had four other battleships, we had only lost Space Titan, and the rest of our fleet remained nearly at full health.
The enemy put up a fight but were outnumbered and lost all their ships. During this time, the Titans harvested relics without interruption. When the enemy eventually respawned and returned in force, it was too late—the damage had been done. Falkio and Tricky each created 11 relics, Space Titan scored 9, and Talon had 4 support kills. After respawning, Space Titan even destroyed another battleship.
This was a decisive victory with a score of 30-0. However, it would not be the last encounter with this enemy, TheBasics. They would return in White Star 20, and the next battle would not be as easy.
